Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! – Psalm 133:1
We have deeply missed everyone due to the cancellation of festival sites last year due to the consequences of the Pandemic. We all missed experiencing the in-person love, affection, camaraderie, and uplifting spirit that we share together each year. It is therefore with great joy and eagerness that we have begun planning the 2021 Feast of Tabernacles.
However, in the wake of the pandemic and other various obstacles that have impacted our initial plans to once again return to the KY Dam State Park, we are pleased to announce that we have overcome these obstacles by having TWO location choices available for the 2021 Feast: a new venue at Kentucky Lake, and a brand new location in Hot Springs Arkansas.
We hope this fellowship in the faith will afford everyone the opportunity of choice in 2021 with members of the Churches of God, whomever they are, all coming together in unity to worship and rejoice at Our Father’s Appointed Time.
The Church of God International and Christian Educational Ministries are teaming up to provide a new location for the Feast in 2021 at Hot Springs Arkansas. The area is nestled the beautiful Ouachita mountains of North Central Arkansas where early Fall tinges the majesty of natural deep beauty, coupled with myriad wilderness trails and the famous Hot Spring Baths and fountains that dot the area.
Services will be held at the Legendary Vapors lounge and feature a traditional Church of God atmosphere with inspiring and familiar hymns, instructive sermons and an introduction of seminars and interactive bible studies for brethren who have yet to enjoy the LBL Feast experience.
In Kentucky, Independent congregations and brethren will keep the spirit of the LBL Feast alive and pumping at The Moors Resort on Kentucky Lake, within 15 minutes drive of the KY Dam State Park. Smack-dab on the shores of Kentucky Lake in the midst of the Pennyrile Forest, a spectacular array of Fall colors awaits you in the midst of a serene natural setting that speaks to the glory of God’s Handiwork.
Our expectations are that Kentucky will be a smaller and more intimate group this year, which will afford us the ability to be more fellowship-oriented. Services at the Feast in Kentucky will feature a more contemporary atmosphere with a Praise and Worship band to lead us in praising our Father and His Soon-Coming Son with a focus to have more interactive bible studies and seminars and uplifting conversational messages. We hope to be more relaxed and informal as our need to be flexible in the new location may be necessary. We hope to have as many meal-sharing opportunities as possible with plenty of fellowship activities that you have come to expect from an LBL Feast.
Wherever you choose to attend, whether in Hot Springs or at Kentucky Lake – Our Fellowship in Faith Feast of Tabernacles will feature one of the best spreads for your spiritual banquet table with a variety of opportunities for spiritual nourishment that appeal to many different biblical interests. Worship and fellowship will sharpen your iron in a beautiful nature setting amidst the warm love, hospitality, laughter and enjoyment that comes when God’s People get together at His Appointed Times to worship and rejoice before Him!
